Having struggled to score well at Fulhurst in previous seasons, Melton began slowly, but finished 12-9 up at the end of the first quarter.

Melton increased their lead during the third quarter with some pressure defence from Andy Chester and Steve Grant forcing Fulhurst's centre into some bad plays.
Lewis' excellent three-pointers and Paul Hodgkinson's assists saw Melton to take a 46-25 advantage into the final quarter.
The visitors' best spell came late with Niels Oostenrijk snapping up good defensive rebounds as Melton outscored Fulhurst by 13 points in the final quarter after a late scoring flourish from Carter in his last game of the season.
Melton are aiming to extend their run to seven wins on Friday against Burleigh College under coach Alan Hodgkinson.
