History made in Melton Men's Darts League

TUESDAY, 4.30pm: History was made in Melton Men's Darts League last week as D G Tyle hit an impressive three 180s in one match.
The Black Swan X player was bang on form in their Division One game against Hamilton A, helping them to an 8-3 win.

This week in Division One saw Hamilton M ease their relegation worries by edging out-of-form Mash Tub D 6-5. Hamilton A eased their
lower league worries by beating second-placed title contenders Fox Z 7–4.

Cutting Room MPs destroyed Harboro 10–1, Matt Kerr helping out with a 108 finish.

Mash Tub A swapped positions with Black Swan X, beating them 7–4 to move into third with A. Barlow hitting a 180 for the Mash Tub. Mid-table Crown Cruisers eased their way past Generous Briton 7–4.

*Result of the week in Division Two came from Welby YNWA who thrashed leaders Generous Briton 10–1 to go top once again.

Rutland also had an easy week with an 11–0 walkover against Cutting Room to move up to second, a point behind Welby.

Fox A defeated the Grapes 7-4 to go third, while Hamilton maintained the pressure on the leaders with a 9-2 win over Noel's E.

*Welby XV returned to winning ways in the Premier, moving into second place after taking the first seven legs on their way to a 9-2 win against Rutland X.

Fellow form horses Half Moon SR had the Premier's result of the week, downing previously unbeaten Boat P 8–3 to return to third in the table.

Half Moon B scraped home 6-5 against Noel's D with the game resting on the last leg.

Welby C remain top with another comfortable win, this time over Boat SS. Andy Love chipped in for the Welby with his second maximum of the season.
