Belvoir men return to top of league

TUESDAY, 5.30pm: Belvoir returned to the top of Melton and District Badminton League Men's Division One after another strong performance.
They beat Mars 8-1 away from home with Phil Pugh increasing his winning streak to nine games and keeping his average up at an excellent 173 after three matches.
Neil Dodes, a new recruit from OGs, also won his three games to take his record to 6-0 with a 144 average.
In Men's Division Two Staveley B avenged a 9-0 whitewash by Great Dalby by using home advantage at Asfordby Amateurs to win 7-2, Sly Chung and Richard Lee winning all three rubbers.
